Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to support a high-volume, centralized Treasury & Cash Accounting function within a large-cap corporate environment. This role requires hands-on ownership of daily cash accounting operations at scale, managing significant transaction volumes through system-driven processes.



Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on cash accounting experience within a large corporate or multinational environment.

• Demonstrated ownership of high-volume daily cash operations.

• Experience working in system-driven cash clearing environments (not manual processes).

• SAP experience required; exposure to the Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) module strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and clearing accounts.

• Experience managing multiple bank accounts and high transaction volumes.

• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration ability.



Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FIS Integrity or other Treasury Workstation systems.

• Direct exposure to SAP EBS implementation or configuration.

• Experience supporting ERP transitions (ECC to S/4HANA).

• Exposure to intercompany cash activity within large organizations.

• SOX/internal controls or audit experience.



Core Responsibilities

Daily Cash Operations

• Own end-to-end accounting for daily cash transactions across multiple bank accounts.

• Process and clear high-volume bank transactions through system-based workflows.

• Manage electronic bank statement processing within SAP (EBS module).

• Monitor and clear clearing and suspense accounts.

• Investigate and resolve unmatched or exception items.



Reconciliations & Journal Entries

• Prepare and post journal entries related to cash and bank activity.

• Perform daily and month-end bank reconciliations in a high-volume environment.

• Ensure accurate recording of all cash movements within the general ledger.



Treasury Coordination

• Partner with Treasury Operations to review daily cash movements, including large-value and high-frequency transactions.

• Support currency-related bank confirmations and general multi-currency cash handling.

• Collaborate with AP and AR teams to resolve open items affecting cash balances.



Systems & Process Ownership

• Work within SAP ECC (transitioning to S/4HANA) with focus on the Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) module.

• Support and maintain automated bank statement processing rules.

• Contribute to process improvements within cash accounting workflows.

• Participate in ERP transformation activities related to cash operations.
