Required Education
• BA/BS Degree in Finance/Accounting
Preferred License/Certification
• CPA preferred
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• 3-6 year of experience in a similar role
• General ledger reconciliations would be top experience needed
• Knowledge of GAAP rules
• Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Excel and Word)
• Must have excellent written & oral communication and inter-personal skills
• Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines
• Proven ability to perform detailed research and to provide solution driven results
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Studio accounting experience
• Experience in Entertainment Industry

Overview:
This position is responsible for all accounting functions related to GCD-Content Licensing contracts.
Job Duties
• Analysis and reporting of GCD license agreements
• Complete financial month end/quarter end close process, including revenue recognition and Trial Balance reconciliations
• Analyze and explain Foreign Exchange variances on a monthly basis
• Analysis of actual performance versus Forecast/ Plan
• Present Value analysis and reporting
• Reporting and analysis for inter/intra company and related party
• Perform quarterly Bad Debt Analysis
• Perform Clearing Account/BITIN Cash reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Revenue Share deal tracking and reporting
• GAAP/Statutory Audit Support: Internal Audit (Compliance)/External (PWC/EY)
• Ensure SOX and all other key controls are adhered to and supported on a monthly basis
• Create Journal Entries for posting into GL
• Ad-hoc/Miscellaneous reporting and analysis
• Review of new contracts and change orders within the PRISM system(s)
• Review of accounting transactions created by PRISM
• Ongoing maintenance of Pay TV deals in PRISM
• Work with IT to develop, test and implement new Pay TV expression deals in PRISM
• Entitlements: Journal entry, reconciliation and reporting
• Non-Theatrical (TDS): Reconciliation and reporting
• TREC Sub-System: Invoice creation, aging reconciliation and reporting
Specific Details to call attention to.
• Studio accounting experience is preferred
• Candidates whose background is only participations and residuals are not a fit
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Strong general ledger reconciliation experience is critical
