Job Description
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).

Requirements:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with databases and financial systems.
• Prior experience in fund accounting, mutual funds, or investment management (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:
• Familiarity with mutual fund operations and NAV calculations.
• Knowledge of SEC regulations and GAAP principles.
• Experience working with custodians, transfer agents, and prime brokers.

Job Duties:
• Maintain general ledger records for mutual funds and support end-of-day Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations.
• Prepare daily accounting entries and reconciliations, including:
o General ledger accounting
o Prime broker and bank cash reconciliations
o Portfolio management and advisor processing
o Corporate action processing
o Expense accruals and payment postings
o NAV and mill rate determinations
o Portfolio pricing analysis and validation
o Portfolio and position reconciliations
• Distribute timely and accurate internal and external financial information.
• Collaborate with internal and external administrators, transfer agents, and prime brokers/custodians.
• Support compliance, audit, and financial reporting activities.
• Ensure all fund accounting processes comply with SEC regulations and GAAP standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting procedures and controls.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Fund Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily fund operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment supporting mutual funds of varying complexity.
