Job Description

Feedback from manager: We are looking for a skill set with experience in a troubleshooting and maintaining a monolithic application and SQL database. Candidates interviewed from 166488 did not have the experience needed to support this specific application. Candidates must be Wisconsin residents or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role. 100% remote work is an option. Can accommodate if candidate wants to work onsite.

Required Education:
• Requires a bachelor's or associate degree in area of specialty or 5-8+ years of experience in the field or a related area.

Required Experience and Skills:
• Development and Support experience on web-based applications using the .NET framework ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE (5-8+ Years)
• Supported programming languages (e.g., C#, C, bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript) (5-8+ Years)
• Performs front-end and back-end development of web applications and web APIs (web services) (5-8+ Years)
• Experience with ASP.net and SSRS reporting (5-8+ Years)

Responsibilities:
• Performs front-end and back-end development of web applications and web APIs (web services)
• Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
• Implementing or using security controls directly into the software development lifecycle, including GitHub Advanced Security
• Provide support for security including vulnerability remediation, participation in security initiatives, escalation support for cybersecurity incidents
• Ensure regulatory compliance in systems

Additional details: There will be occasional (potentially twice a month) weekend or evening work, but this is not an on-call position.
