Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect /.NET & AWS Technical Lead to provide technical leadership for the modernization and rewrite of an enterprise School Finance Foundation Formula Payment System.
The successful candidate will be responsible for target solution architecture, AWS cloud architecture, application architecture, .NET modernization, integrations, security, scalability, monitoring, auditability, and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop the target solution architecture for the modernized application.
• Design AWS cloud and hybrid on-premises/cloud architecture.
• Develop architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
• Lead technical design and development using:
o C#
o ASP.NET Core
o Web APIs
o Blazor
o Entity Framework/Core
o LINQ
o SQL Server
o Layered architecture
• Design and support AWS services including:
o AWS RDS
o Amazon S3
o EC2
o API Gateway
o EKS
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Design secure, scalable, highly available application architecture.
• Design APIs, integrations, batch processes, file interfaces, and error-handling approaches.
• Establish application logging, monitoring, auditability, and security controls.
• Provide technical leadership and code-review support.
• Guide development standards and best practices.
• Support CI/CD, automated deployments, source control, and release management.
• Support AWS infrastructure and cost planning.
• Work with State technical personnel throughout architecture, development, testing, deployment, and implementation.
