Job Description
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field.



Required Skills:

• 4-5+ years of working experience in developing using Microsoft .NET, open-source JavaScript libraries: Angular, Node.js

• SQL Server fundamentals

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes

• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify creative ways to achieve solutions



Knowledge/Experience:

• Experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation (all phases of software development life cycle - SDLC)

• Very strong working experience with .NET Core and JavaScript libraries

• Knowledge and experience using Ci/CD tools.

• Some understanding of the financial industry is an asset.

• Excellent functional, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills



Key Responsibilities:

• Design & develop solutions using .NET, Angular, Node.js, SQL Server and related technologies.

• Produce well-commented, high-quality code. Technical & Release documents.

• Interact with the team lead and/or BA to understand the business requirements.

• Provide technical walk-throughs to various stakeholders (QA Team, UAT Team, etc.)

• Communicate with internal stakeholders and work through data-related inquiries and issues.

• Be able to work independently as well as within a team



Description:

The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and supporting solutions developed using .NET Core C#, JavaScript libraries Angular, Node.js, and related technologies. Experience with SQL Server is preferred.

This role will focus on the development and support of modules for the Financial Calculation Engine, so basic financial knowledge is a big plus.
