Introduction
The customer is a government agency acting as a cutting edge recruiting command, which recruits both military veteran and commercial civilian personnel. The company chose Rose International to administer, manage, re-develop and ensure the success of their commercial Internet and Intranet Webs. Rose brought to the table industry-leading expertise in partnership with McCall's ICP Services & WWW Consulting, LLC.
The sole purpose of the customer's commercial Internet Web site is to program information distribution and lead generation. The Intranet, on the other hand, is the proposed vehicle for in-house electronic information distribution and learning, as well as scheduling and registration for classes held exclusively in their local headquarters for students from across the country.
The Problem
Commercially, this recruiting entity had produced an Internet presence, which was active and online, but was not realizing a sufficient number of hits per day. Consequently, they were also not receiving leads from the site's Leads Information Request form. Both hit counter and leads received per day were at zero.
Internally, their Intranet needed to be developed and made functional.
The Rose Solution
Rose provided the following solutions:
-
Designed from the ground up, the non-linear audio/video automated production system(s) for use at the recruiting headquarters to include state-of-the-art technology, such as Digital Video Cam, Intergraph Digital Video/Audio capture and non-linear editing system with disk array and Targa-Card technology.
-
Produced and/or edited video public service announcement productions for use in Web site streaming, as well as other distributable media.
-
Produced CDs containing full multi-media content (video, audio, hyperlinked text, interactive elements and graphics) in the interest of advertising and computer-based training on distributed media.
-
Produced CDs to assist staff in their presentations when they "go on the road" to recruiter training seminars, and developed CD content for distribution on CD business card media.
-
Provided graphic design and support.
-
Developed and administered a Recruiter-On-Line live chat within the commercial Web site, where potential leads/prospects can pose questions and get immediate feedback from a live recruiter.
-
Created banner ad graphic design for distribution to all search engines. This design was tailor-made to meet the requirements of Yahoo, AltaVista, WebCrawler and MSN to name a few.
-
Web Advertising: The commercial Web site is now the number one source for leads within this recruiting entity. Since Rose became involved in the repair and development of these processes, there has been an 800 to 1000 percent increase in leads obtained daily from this source, and their hit rate has increased 500 percent per day. Their domains are being registered in 300,000 to 500,000 search engines and Web registries monthly to ensure maximum exposure can be realized in the arena of free submissions. In addition, an integrated proposal has been submitted to the customer for banner and hypertext advertising for run of site, as well as targeted rotation of banners within the major search engines. If accepted and utilized, this plan will create exponential growth to the tune of thousands of leads obtained per day, as well as thousands or even hundreds of thousands of hits per day and unique visitors to their Web site.
Through the use of Internet technologies, non-linear video and audio production, and multi-media development, this agency has been empowered to offer its subordinate commands real-time, cross-country access to mission-essential information, learning materials and inter-communications. This has vastly improved their mission success and saved them hundreds of thousands in the way of travel expenses and other replicating, production and distribution costs.
