Rose International Named to the Working Woman 500

ST. LOUIS, May 19, 2000 – Rose International, a leader in providing technology and e-business solutions, announced today that it has been named to the Working Woman 500 as the 491st largest woman-owned business in the United States. This is the company’s first appearance on the list, which was created by Working Woman magazine in 1998.

“Being recognized nationally is a privilege, and helps us further position ourselves as a leader in our industry,” said Himanshu Bhatia, Rose International CEO. “It is especially meaningful in helping promote woman-owned enterprises as a vital part of the nation’s economy.”

Rose posted 1999 revenues of $20 million, up from $11.8 million in 1998. Since its inception seven years ago, Rose has experienced a phenomenal revenue growth rate of 10,000 percent. The company was one of only three St. Louis-area companies to make the list.

Founded in 1993, St. Louis-based Rose International is a leader in providing Information Technology solutions to corporations and government agencies nationwide. The company’s numerous branch offices have a broad geographic reach, allowing Rose to work with organizations across the country. Rose has been recognized by Deloitte & Touche as the country’s 26th fastest growing technology firm, and Himanshu Bhatia was recently named Asian Entrepreneur of the Year in the high tech industry by Asian Enterprise Magazine.
