The Problem
The organization's growth caused a significant increase in administrative burden to reconcile patient treatment data with the insurance industry's standard codes for reimbursement. Further, the organization wanted to track its performance against the pre-existing operation for marketing purposes and to illustrate value to its current or potential clients.
The Rose Solution
With guidance, direction and business rule development from the organization's medical and operations staff, Rose built a Microsoft Access database to support a billing application for treatment-to-reimbursement reconciliation. The system incorporated performance metrics for purposes of illustrating improved patient care and a reduction in system costs to all parties in the value proposition. The system was designed, installed and operational in 40 days
